This interview for the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University introduces my Marie Skłodowska Curie project, FIRSA, which examines how fintech regulatory sandboxes have developed across Europe and why their design and adoption vary across countries. It reflects the project’s broader aim of building a comparative framework for assessing these regulatory schemes, identifying differences in implementation, and drawing policy lessons about how regulators try to balance innovation, financial stability, and consumer protection.
